Archiving Policy
To ensure long-term digital preservation of scholarly content, the Maldives Journal of Engineering and Technology (MJET) utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN). This service ensures that all published articles remain permanently accessible, even in the event of journal website downtime, data loss, or discontinuation of the journal.
The PKP Preservation Network provides free, automated preservation for journals using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. It meets key preservation standards and supports the journal’s commitment to maintaining access to the scholarly record over time.
Additional Archiving Practices
-
All articles published in MJET are assigned DOIs and are openly accessible under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
-
Authors are encouraged to self-archive the final published version of their articles in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, or personal websites, with proper citation and license reference.
-
MJET is committed to maintaining the accessibility and integrity of its published content for the long term.
